Entry Point North AB is an international academy specialising in Air Traffic Management training. The academy was established in 2005 and it educates primarily Air Traffic Controllers. In 2011 we established a subsidiary in Budapest, Hungary and from 2014 also a subsidiary in Shannon, Ireland. Due to an ever increasing demand of development courses within ATC training we are now looking for two Human Factors experts with a broad experience of classroom based training. Are you ready to take-off with us?
Job description As a Training Specialist, you will be working in an innovative environment in close collaboration with your colleagues. Your main responsibilities will be to lecture courses within the area of aviation related Human Factors. You will supervise and manage training in accordance with company manuals and existing training philosophy.
The training is delivered both at our premises and abroad. This includes:
- Teaching and instructing course participants
- Production and development of teaching material
- To take part in training related tasks such as development of training tools, internal projects, consultancy services etc.
The employment is until further notice, starting as soon as possible. The conditions of employment follow the general conditions of the collective agreement “Kommunikation” between Almega and SEKO, ST, Ledarna, Jusek, CF, Civilekonomerna and SRAT.
Qualifications We are looking for an open minded colleague with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in education and Human Factors. You have a flexible mind-set and have no problems adapting to quick changes. As a person you are structured and like to organise and take responsibility for things needed to be done. You like to work in a team but are also comfortable to work independently.
- You have a background as Air Traffic Controller with OJTI experience or a pilot background with CRMI experience
- Alternatively you have an academic degree within the Human Factors field preferably in combination with an operational experience from a safety-critical organisation
- Experience in the role as teacher is a merit
Our working environment is international why you need to have good spoken and written communication skills in English. The role requires a common knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. Travel time will come with this position.
